Ultimate camping luxury at Silverstone for British Formula 1 Grand Prix and Moto GP 2014
If hot showers, sumptuous bedding, flushing loos and a charged mobile phone are non-negotiable for you and your family, then 2014 looks bright. Motorsport enthusiasts can sleep beneath the stars in ultimate camping luxury by glamping with Honeybells at the Formula 1 Grand Prix, 2 – 7 July 2014 and Moto GP, 27 August – 1 September at Silverstone.
Spectators can enjoy a day’s racing action and then relax with home comforts such as real double mattresses, sheepskin rugs, fairy lights, mirrors and indoor and outdoor lighting. New for 2014, all glampers can use the ‘Pamper Tent’ which hosts mirrors, hairdryers, phone and hair straightener power points.
Honeybells Tents and Silverstone campsite Hamilton Fields have teamed up to offer various levels of indulgence in attractive canvas bell tents. Standard packages provide four- or six-person tents, with guests bringing their own bedding and furnishings. The Classic package offers furnishings such as carpets, rugs, tables, bunting, bedside Champagne crates and lighting. The sumptuous Luxury package also provides real double mattresses, duvets, pillows, towels and breakfast each morning.
The Silverstone Gold Award Hamilton Fields campsite, located in Silverstone village, is a short walk from the famous Silverstone circuit and hosts hot showers, entertainment marquee with live bands, replay of the day’s racing on a large screen, full English breakfasts, pig roasts and evening meals with seated area, licensed bar, site security, shop, power tent to charge electrical items and a minibus shuttle to and from Silverstone circuit. Honeybell’s sister company, Campeazy also has pre-pitched 2, 4, 6, and 8 man tents, supplied with and without beds from £130 plus pitching fee.

Prices start from £250 for a 4-person bell tent standard package for up to four nights. Additional pitch fees are paid directly to Hamilton Field. There is a 10% discount for packages purchased before 1 January 2014.
