Business Bootcamp trains local companies to get fighting fit

The answers to such business conundrums such as how to always get paid on time, how to offer five star customer service and the most effective ways of boosting business were provided to  a group of local business owners who attended a free Business Bootcamp earlier this month.

Business owners of companies of all sizes enjoyed an inspirational half-day training session, hosted at the Village Hotel, Bournemouth, by Verwood-based Chartered accountancy firm Grant Sellers. Participants were challenged by leading business development expert and accountant Russell Payne to think differently about their businesses from the outside in, and they left with strategies to boost custom, profitability and their brands’ profiles.

Managing Director of Grant Sellers, Stephen Sellers, said: “Similar to physical fitness, the health of a business is dependent on taking time out to challenge yourself, learn new techniques and train to be the best in the challenging world of business. We’ve developed these free Bootcamps to help local business leaders drive their businesses forward and to keep focused on what is important.

“If you think all accountants are the same, think again. At Grant Sellers we don’t just look back on an organisation’s books over the last 12 months, we help them deliver a more profitable future. We can predict their future income based on various pricing models, and advise them on how to reduce their overheads while increasing market share.”

Paul Telling from Event Insurances Ltd who attended the Bootcamp said: “I found the morning inspiring and extremely interesting. The ideas we discussed will help me look at my business in a different light.”
